How does pricing work?
There is a minimum food and/or beverage purchase for all events, as well as a room rental fee. The total of your food and/or beverage purchase must meet the requirements described below. If sales minimum is not met, the difference will be added to the final client bill. Rates for events scheduled on holidays may vary.
What’s Your Reservation Policy?
The Melody Event Center offers a 24 hour courtesy hold on all of our event spaces, pending availability. A signed copy of our Event Contract along with a credit card number and a deposit in the amount of your room rental fee will confirm your reservation. A payment plan for the remaining balance can be set up with your Sales Manager, with the total amount due fourteen (14) days prior to your event. A signed copy of your Banquet Event Order (BEO) is also required fourteen (14) days prior to your event. Any beverages that have been arranged to be charged on consumption will charged to the card on file within 48 hours of the conclusion of your event.
When Do you Need Final Guest Count and Payment?
The minimum guaranteed guest count and final payment must be received no later than fourteen (14) days prior to the event. If the guest count falls below the guaranteed count, the client will still be charged for the guaranteed.
Do You Offer Catering?
Our Sales and Events Team are happy to assist you with selecting the menu and beverages for your event, and completely understand the special dietary restrictions that some of our guests may have – thus, gluten-free, vegan, nut-free and culturally sensitive options are always happily accommodated on our menus. To ensure that the freshest and most seasonally available product is available for your event, we ask that your menu and beverages are finalized fourteen (14) days prior to the scheduled function.
Do You Provide Lighting and Decor?
We are proud to offer complimentary customized digital colored lighting and uplighting in our Grand Ballroom, and can outfit all of our other spaces with uplighting at an additional charge. Simple candlelit centerpieces are also complementary and available upon request. We offer a wide selection of chair covers and linens in a range of colors, and are happy to assist with making arrangements for other decor.
How About Music or Sound?
Each of our spaces are equipped with in-house speakers suitable for background music and presentations; we are happy to assist you with making arrangements for entertainment options with our in-house equipment or through our trusted vendors. DJs, bands, and other live entertainment are welcomed with prior approval.
What About Parking Options?
The Melody Event Center features a limited number of complimentary parking spaces available to our guests, as well as Parking Attendant and Valet staff; please speak with our Sales Managers for further information. Metered and non-metered street parking is available in the local area as well.
